Wherever you stand, the map shows the places around you that have a story: history, culture and the people who lived there. That holds in big cities as much as in small villages. Thanks to the global community the stories change and grow every minute, and our pipeline keeps them current.

Your location stays on your phone and is never sent to our servers. We store favourites and history only if you sign in.

Every story comes as text and as audio, in German, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese.

We research the stories with our own trained AI models and adapt them to what the reader needs. The models stay close to the sources, because we would rather say less about a place than say something wrong.

Every organisation has stories that belong to places: a collective's mural, a village's trail, a zoo's animals, a museum's collection. StoryMapp is open to you for that, and your tours sit on the same map as millions of other places.
