This page explains what this website stores in your browser and why.

What we store

Consent choice (strictly necessary). When you answer the consent banner, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so that the banner does not reappear on every page. This is required to honour your decision (§ 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG) and needs no consent. It contains nothing but your choice.

Language choice (strictly necessary). When you answer the language hint or switch between German and English, we remember the chosen language in local storage so that the hint does not reappear. This too is a single value with no personal data.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent). The banner lets you allow analytics cookies. At present no analytics tool is loaded on this website, whatever you choose. Should we introduce one, it will only be loaded after you allow it, and this page and our privacy policy will name the tool, the data it collects and how long it is kept before it goes live.

Preference cookies (only with your consent). The banner also lets you allow preference cookies, which would remember settings such as a preferred language. At present this website sets none.

We set no other cookies. Our hosting provider does not set cookies for this site either.

Changing your choice

To change or withdraw your choice, delete this site’s data in your browser settings (usually under privacy or site data). The banner will appear again on your next visit. You can also set your browser to block cookies and site data altogether.
