What we do for you

Six fields in which we develop and operate ourselves. You work directly with the three founders, not with placed third parties.

What we are working on

Four projects that show how we bring data, software and AI together. Two of them are still in development, and we say so.

  • Tour planner app: a planned 16.6 km hiking route on a map, trail sections coloured by surface, stops and a waypoint marked.

    Tour planner that builds the tour for the day

    Most tour portals show a database of ready-made tours. Our planner creates the tour for the user and the day. It combines weather, warnings and closures with fitness, time budget and preferences, and with trail surface, gradient, shade and places to rest or eat.

    The result is a route that fits, instead of a list to search through.

  • Mobile 3D ski-area map with pistes, lifts and video points along the run.
    In development

    SkiApp: the ski day, measured and shared

    The app records the skier's statistics and health data and links them to the geography of the ski area. Photos and videos are embedded in a 3D replay of the run that can be shared with friends and followers.

    Behind it: a terrain model, piste data, on-device positioning, and a snow and weather report from several sources.

    StoryMapp: stories about places, worldwide

    Our own product, free for iOS and Android. More than 8 million stories in six languages, worldwide coverage, a monthly update cycle, users in 58 countries. Partner: the artists' project Art Hop Silver Lake in Los Angeles.

  • In development

    Emergency map for disaster response

    A map that works without network and without power, and is still current. It gives emergency services orientation and a basis for planning during a large-scale blackout, on the device, from current open data.

Commissioning us

We know how public procurement works in Germany and shape our offers accordingly.

Contract basis
We work on the German EVB-IT standard terms for services, development or maintenance, or on your own templates.
Direct award
Below the applicable value thresholds you can commission us directly. Offer and self-declarations arrive at short notice.
Framework agreement
For ongoing development, maintenance or consulting we are available for framework agreements with call-offs.
Subcontracting
For prime contractors and IT service providers we take on clearly defined work packages, above all in geodata, mobile and AI.
Pricing
Daily rate €900 net for development and consulting, or a fixed price under a works contract for clearly specified work. The first conversation is free of charge.
Documents
Commercial register extract, self-declarations of suitability and references by sector; a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is available on request.

Experience

Three founders with backgrounds in geography and geoinformatics, cartography and information and communication technology. We gained our working experience in start-ups and large companies, at public-safety organisations, in defence engineering, in global car navigation and in DevOps. References by sector on request.

One piece of evidence is public: StoryMapp, our own app with more than 8 million places in six languages. Its data pipeline runs without manual work, and location never leaves the device.

Free of charge, remote or at your office. We listen, and afterwards we tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
2. Offer
Service description, price and schedule, plus the documents your procedure requires.
3. Delivery
In short steps with fixed contacts and regular acceptance. The source code is yours.
4. Handover and operation
Documentation and training, and if you wish, operation and maintenance under a framework agreement.
